About Dr Sophie

Dr Sophie has 25 years of experience working in the NHS and private sector.


In the NHS, Dr Sophie worked with people adjusting to big life changes, recovering from trauma and adapting to changes in their physical

health.


Dr Sophie has extensive experience in working with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship difficulties

and trauma. She is also a specialist in health-related difficulties, including  health anxiety.


Dr Sophie is trained in a wide variety of therapies including:


  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Attachment-Informed Psychotherapy
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)


In addition to providing therapy, Dr Sophie is an experienced Clinical Supervisor, Training Facilitator and Public Speaker.
