About Dr Suzanne

Dr Suzanne began her career as an Adult Registered Nurse and worked within Critical Care Services in the NHS for over 20 years.


Her work with patients and their families at times of acute ill-health and trauma led her to retraining as an Integrative Psychotherapist in

2014.


Dr Suzanne now has over 10 years’ experience of working in a range of NHS and private settings, delivering therapy to individuals, groups

and couples. She has a wealth of experience working with an array of psychological difficulties. She retains a keen interest in working with

people as they adapt to changes in their physical health.


She is also skilled in delivering therapy for varied mental health presentations including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, OCD,

trauma, grief and relationship difficulties.


Dr Suzanne is trained in multiple therapy approaches, including:


  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Attachment-based Psychotherapy


She holds an Accredited Certificate in Professional Couples Counselling.
